Water Data in Action: Integrating hydrology, water quality and environmental data for managing tomorrow’s resources

Tuesday 16th March - Technical Workshop

  1. Formal workshop presentations from submitted abstracts and group discussions

  2. Exhibitor/trade stand presentations will be held in the afternoon, followed by both the Gauging Regatta and Water Quality Regatta briefings

  3. Everyone is invited to attend the official Social Event at the Lower Hutt Events Centre from 5pm

Wednesday 17th March - Data Workshop, Gauging Regatta & Water Quality Regatta

Attendees choose to attend the Data Workshop, Gauging Regatta or Water Quality Regatta
 

  1. Gauging Regatta = This is an opportunity for organisations to field validate their flow gauging instruments on a common section, and for new technologies to be explored and demonstrated in the field

  2. Water Quality Regatta = A new component of the workshop for 2027, this event provides opportunities to test water quality field equipment, refine and align methods, share innovative techniques, and build valuable professional connections across surface and groundwater domains

  3. Data Workshop = A mixture of presentations and group discussions on relevant environmental data topics

  4. Afternoon Trade Stand Workshops = A mixture of presentations and group discussions facilitated by Trade Stand Vendors

Thursday 18th March - Technical Workshop

Formal workshop presentations from submitted abstracts and group discussions, split into two streams
 

Stream One: Hydrology Focus

Stream Two: Water Quality Focus

The formal Workshop Dinner & Drinks will be held at Brewtown, Upper Hutt. Transport to and from the dinner venue will be provided. Prizegiving will be held at the Workshop Dinner
